Conclusion of the Battle:

Overall British and French offensives were failures; Vimy Ridge stood out as significant victory

Of the 100,000 Canadians who took part in the battle, 3,598 were killed and 7,004 wounded. 

Compared to previous losses of France and Britain, 150,000 casualties,  the Canadians were very successful.
